Hillary is like an old shoe. She may not be the favorite, but she is the devil we know. People generally choose a familiar evil rather than take a chance on an unknown quantity. The GOP candidates seem to be good people, but they still remain an unknown. God help us, it looks like another 4 to 8 years of Clinton. The fact that we made through the last Clinton epidemic proves how strong this country is.

I'm going to answer the question posed in the first paragraph and leave it at that, "No. Nobody can derail her."

Ron Paul, the Howard Dean of the Republican party?
-

I agree with the first post. Ron Paul is, thus far, the best choice for President from either of the two parties -- and the lack of coverage for him is shameful . This may have something to do with the fact that Paul is a Libertarian running on the Republican ticket -- but that just goes to show you how irretrievably damaged the "two party system" is.

HA! Wow I like how the other commenter's actually believe that ron paul has a chance. HA!

This piece doesn't mention Ron Paul, yet he is the best choice from either side of the BS two party system in America.
Paul will take on the Federal Reserve which is the biggest problem with America. The Federal Reserve is a horrible scam against the American people and should be abolished immediately.
Google video "Federal Reserve" to learn more.
Real effective change could happen with Paul as President.
Unfortunately Clinton will win. Teaming up with the likes of Rupert Murdoch and other power elites has guaranteed her victory. She will play ball against the people so she's in.

I love how this article didn't mention Ron Paul once. He has been willing Republican polls in many different states, but the media is quick to cast him as a "wasted vote" because he doesn't support the agenda that the media companies have. Ron Paul is the ONLY Republican candidate that makes sense, and still adheres to the principles set out for us in the Constitution. Apparently, people have forgotten the meaning of the word "Patriot". A famous man once said, "Those who give up essential freedoms in exchange for security, deserve neither."

Considering the presidential conditions this country has had to endure over the last 6 years I would suggest that calling the Clinton presidency 'arrogant' is miopic and misinformed . Right wingers demand 'strength' in our leaders and are prepared to ignore all misgivings -as long as our president is strong. I think you'll find that those on the left want the same strength in our president, however where we don't agree is the grey area in the middle. We on the left call it torture, lies, deciet, treason, fraud, the irony of sex scandals involving moral crusaders and the abonimable acts of push polling (just ask McCain about that)- where as the right seem to frame it as - everything is alright because our party is in office and because you guys on the left don't want to continue an occupation that has killed tens of thousands of innocent people - including our troops, then we're weak and as mr. Christmastree put it 'arrogant'. Continue your hatred of woman - they threaten you. Continue your fear of gays - they confuse you. Continue your intolerance of all that is not you - it defines you. Vote Barack and lets start to heal this country

Why they can't win the presindency.
Hillary = woman.
Barak = black.
Edwards = wimp.
Richardson = low IQ.
Romney = mormon.
Guliani = italian.
McCain = PTSD.
Thompson = Andy Taylor
The next pres has not entered the race yet.

Vote for anyone but Hillary! This Southern carpetbagger, together with "Bubba" are two of the most arrogant and hypocritical politicians around. Any moral woman should have divorced him post-Lewinsky, but she didn't, why? Now we know why. They sleazed into Democratic New York and have done nothing to help us since 9/11. Name ONE positive bill that she SPONSORED in the Senate in her two terms. Don't tell me that she couldn't initiate any legislation as the junior senator, that's nonsense. Also, do we Americans really want a woman in charge of the armed forces? As a vet, I don't. Sound sexist, darn right it is. It's bad enough that few male candidates have any military service, but that woman shouldn't be in charge of nuclear weapons. Obama is Demo-lite, so vote for Guliani.

Let's face it, whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, Hillary Rodham Clinton is the candidate to beat. If you can't beat Hillary, you can't win.

I have to disagree with the Obama section.
Most of the media has painted Obama green with a thin resume. He was a state senator who successfully reformed health care in Illinois for those under 18.
I recall reading a couple of articles about his advisors and campaign strategy throughout the season and in all of them, even when he was even with Hillary, they kept saying they had a strategy and needed to keep him from peaking too early. At this time 4 years ago Dean was inevitable but, had in reality already peaked.
this is what they wanted to avoid with Obama.
I see the race as Hillary madly sprinting and Obama running the marathon.
I also have noticed certain things happening. Like someone placing their traps and stuff around the track. This seems to be what Obama has been doing.
I feel far too many of the so called political experts are underestimating Obama at peril of egg on their faces. Just keep watching.
If Edwards doesn't do something soon he will lose any chance. I do think Richardson is the guy who is also running a marathon like Obama. slow and steady.
I feel Hillary has made some mistakes. She has left herself open with her ethics problems with major fundraisers, and backers, and she is also being looked at seriously over outsourcing. She also made that rash hit at Obama very unthoughtout. undisciplined. I think she is capable of making some really boneheaded moves. she has staff keeping her on track but, I see her slipping more and more. I would not overestimate her.
