This hearing should be in August or September where if a judgement occurs then a fair settlement can be given out to The Native Americans this year and not have them waite until the following year to get it...Oct is the end of ficial year for government budgets to be passed. The Interior Dept had 11 yrs to gather all documents and show accountabilty, Why waite until Oct to have the hearing??

This is why I was never good at History. I am ashamed by the way the US has and will continue to treat the land owners long before we came on the scene.

In 1972 "California Judgment Fund Payment" to California Indians, such as myself, equated to Forty Seven Cents an Acre.
I am afraid to ask what the 39 Cents per year represents....This is scary and humiliating - quite sobering to say the least....and I don't drink.... 160 acres leased for grazing at 160 per year equates to $1.00 dollar per acre, per year?
8 billion or 8 Zillion can not reclaim our land/Fair Market Value. Some things never change....
I want to know if they would lease to us for $1.00 an acre, and accept 47 cents "enough to purchase a loaf of bread" or "gallon of milk" at that time, in order to purchase back our land where our peoples spirits reign... Ask yourself in honesty, Is this another Forty Seven Cents? Does anyone know? LEAVE US OUR DIGNITY!! WOULD THEY ACCEPT 47 cents an acre? or 160.00 per year for a cattle lease? or 28 BILLION?
