This is a senseless and unproductive drain. Why are we wasting this money that could be used to rebuild and restore New Orleans and the Gulf area?

"Failure to take corrective action will severely risk the United States government investment in the Iraqi reconstruction effort." This was a foregone conclusion the minute we invaded this country, without a plan for after defeating Saddam. This whole, terrible conflict has been mismanaged from the very beginning, lead by politicians rather than the military leaders, with plans impemented in response to problems, rather than to eliminate potential problems. I've said it once, I will say it many more times until January 2009 "This president will go down in history as the biggest failure that the office has ever been forced to endure". His "legacy" will be pain and suffering for many more years to come, a debt to the American public that will take a lifetime to overcome, and he will ride off into the sunset to make millions of dollars, most of from the ill conceived riches of war profiteers such as himself.
