Why am I not surprised? Someone said a few years ago that the average American can't remember anything important for more than three days! How is this possible, simply because we are electronically deluged by daily garbage from the media, and get overloaded. Add to that the uniquely American ability to disregard any continuing danger and there you have it! The most difficult state of mind to achieve and maintain is alertness. Paranoia and unconcern are easy by comparison. Wake up America, the terrorists are still there, and they're still winning!
