I provided a username and password in the article to use on Aetna's Web site. You can get an idea of national averages on this site, you don't need all of the other companies (I don't know that the other ones even have this info). I included this so that you can begin to think about how much will be paid by any of the dental plans if you go outside of network. I think the amounts on Aetna's site are based on national averages. To be sure, contact the plan you are interested in (by phone) and ask about the services that you would normally use. I did this myself and I found it to be a useful tool, which is why I shared it!

That's a great idea about comparing the usual to the customary costs. But how does one do this? You only gave us one link (Aetna). What about the others like MetLife and GEHA? Try finding this information on your own. In order to get info from Aetna you needed a password. Your heart was in the right place but your information is useless.
