Bennie Thompson sounds like a typical career politician, there for personal gain and not for what the people want. It is clear that a vast majority wants the fence, and that includes a large number of Democrats. He comes off like a pompous rear end, as he expounds on what he will do and what he will require of DHS personnel. Too bad he doesn't respond to what the American people want in the same manner. I totally reinforce what the Submariner had to say!

Curious. Could the DNC be just as clueless what the population says as the RNC? One of the three biggest issues for the results experienced on Nov. 7 was that while in power, the RNC refused to secure the southern border. The one thing they managed to accomplish was to get about a third of the needed fence approved (not funded, mind you, just approved for eventual building).
This kind of confirms what I've said before -- it looks like time to create an entirely new party that listens more to the people than to party leadership.
