Only at USDA is ignorance bliss! Don't believe it! All government agencies think that keeping the public uninformed is the road to security. Security requires openness not lies and misdirection as practiced by Bush and his administration.
The real question should be why not locate in Colorado Springs because that is where the military action is? Why Denver when you already closed Lowery AFB of which Buckly is only a very small part and exists almost by accident for the Air National Guard and then moved to the active Air Force for management. If anything the military moves in the Denver area are a nightmare and political result. Remember when the Army was flushing waste down the wells just outside Denver (probably in the 1960s and 70s.) Also, the Rocky flats plant of the DOE is just north of Denver -- now there is a real terrorist target that should call for the move to Colorado Springs to avoid the target rich environment found in and around Denver, as well as the location of the center of the USA surveillance programs.

Colorado a place for a terrorist attack? Even before this news story, it was known there are a lot of federal government offices in Denver. Terrorists might be interested, if they knew how to look at a map. Most people around the world think the United States is Washington, New York and Los Angeles. Same thing with the people in Washington and New York -- most Americans have moved on since the Sept. 11 attack.
Rest assured, Colorado is safe.

I cannot comprehend why, if people are so worried about the nation's security, this type of detailed story is printed.
Wouldn't this story now make Colorado a possible target for terrorists?
