With any luck, the obvious and open bribery of public officials will one day tire the American people to the point that we rise up and, once more, "throw the rascals out." It would seem by now that elections financed by public funds and only public funds must be self-evident as the one possible way to stop this unseemly display of greed and self-interest. Once more I say, throw the rascals out.
