I used this article as an example to describe the customer base of what I call Heartbeat e9-1-1 as part of my presentation to the International Conference on Complex Systems & as part of my Web site. The evolution of DEAS beyond Blackberry users to all smart phone / cell phone users as described by this article is what I've been trying to explain to industries that contribute to Homeland Defense and Security in a less direct way than mainstream military industrial complex type industries. Good article!
