I don't know why these Republican criminals are so worried. I'm sure their buddy Bush has their pardon papers all drawn up and ready to sign.

Poor Ole Safavian. He's just another of a long line of big shots who is innocent, misunderstood and mistreated. I'll bet that just like Cunningham and the rest he will come out of this with a reduced sentence, serve in a luxury resort limited confinement facility, and leave in great shape and still in possession of his big bankroll. Smoke and mirrors! They call these people white collar criminals but crime is crime. If a guy in a suit and tie breaks into your house and steals from you would his dress make you feel better and offer he/she a lesser sentence at a minimum security facility?

Can you imagine how much more efficiently the prison will run once the A-76 guru himself is an inmate? I can see it now: laundry services will be outsourced death row. Kitchen duties will be outsourced to B Block. Janitorial services will be put up for a competitive bid between A Block and C Block. Oh, my, Safavian is going to do Dubya proud while he's in the pen!

Here is a guy that violated the public trust. He should be sentenced to four consecutive five year terms in jail. I bet he gets four concurrent terms and serves one year with probation following for the other four years. He definitely should be "blacklisted" from any government position including working for any firm that services the government. Now let's go get the big fish!
