Just eliminate SBA. Anyone who works within the system knows that the program is a joke. The system has so many loop holes it's pathetic. Anyone can become part of the program. Most in the program are in illegally. Most don't really qualify. Most don't even do the work but broker the work to someone else who doesn't qualify as a minority, a HUB zone, a veteran etc. Again, just smoke and mirrors and a way to make for politicians to make the little guys think they're helping the oppressed. Wake up! All this really amount to is more government waste!

This is just another way for Bush to stick it to the little guy and gal. Large businesses, franchised or not, do not need more legislation to take away profits from small businesses. The word "Bush" doesn't belong in the same sentence with "ethical" and "legal" because he has no understanding nor concern about what those words mean.

This is another one of those stories that reeks of "well, it's legal so it must be ethical." The president, despite his "friendship" with his SBA appointee, should refuse to sign this bill -- any President, not just Bush, needs to sign only ethical and legal legislation. This certainly appears to be political cronyism again.
