The Government has a don't care attitude regarding domestic violence (in particular the Marine Division) there is so much domestic violence I was privy to in the 4 short months of my daughters marriage until her husband tried to kill her and bit her face on one side. That was after having a stay away order from his command. Then in working with the Family Justice League to get her compensation package, the Marines said they could not disclose the Marine's file because it was a part of his discharge papers and she recieved nothing. We do intend to request a Congressional Inquiry though.
