This is a crock! I have dealt with the Alaska native companies. All the representatives I have met from those companies are retired Air Force officers that were stationed in Alaska! I have never seen a native Alaskan! This is just another subterfuge to have Alaska natives own a company that is run by and for the benefit of retired Air Force officers! Pierce the veil of the native corporation and look at the benefits flowing to non-natives from these actions! If we owe them, which I do not believe -- we should pay them direct subsidies and not try to make them in our image or the image of retired Air Force officers.

Please ... I've been in government oversight of federal contracts for over 21 years. There is far, far more money being wasted by failed, blocked, inadequate, non-existent, and veiled government oversight of the Lockheed Martins, General Dynamics, Raytheons, Northrop Grummans, than any Native American section 8a contracts. There may be waste there too, but heaven knows we owe them.
