See my letter on the Chinese tagging all their people.
If you throw a frog into boiling water, it will jump out. But if you slowly boil the frog, it will cook and not even know it is cooking.
Secretary Chertoff has just recommended we turn up the heat another ten degrees on the frog called liberty. If we keep going down this path in the name of security this frog will die and we won't even notice.
There are many who would say "good," just so long as we are safe.
I will miss that frog!

Access to Social Security Administration records: Dream on. That would allow ICE agents to do their jobs effectively, which is something this administration, or agency doesn't want.
This proposal will go the way of DRO's Operation End Game: One arrest equals one removal or Chertoff's end of catch and release, right!
The IFCO arrests were nothing but a sham to make it appear there is an interest in enforcement. All but the mandatory detention cases were released to the streets, just like all smuggled aliens encountered are being released on a daily basis. The aliens arrested are all back at work by now, albeit with another "willing employer."

On or about Oct. 18, 2005, Mr. Chertoff also stated that he was calling for the end of catch and release. Well, guess what? Almost all those 1,000-plus illegals rounded up in the IFCO worksite raid were released, and provided a Notice to Disappear.

The article states that "millions" of people give their employers a SSN that does not match their name. If the employer withholds FICA from the employees' salary and makes the matching employer contribution to the U.S. Treasury it sounds like the U.S. government ends up collecting a lot of money that doesn't go to those individuals. Millions of people translates to billions of dollars.

Good. The employer who hires the illegals is the main devil. Go get 'em.
