I use a CB and a 10 meter HAM radio if i want to talk private.
On the internet if i want ot send an email i use blowfish-- 448 bit.
Instant messaging i use a non-mainstrem instant messenger that allows direct connect via the IP.NOT using someone elses server to transmit the message. It has 8 different types of encryption on the fly.....
Can you hear me now ???? GREAT!!!!

I think this applied to the first printing presses at one time -- Luddites?
Then it applied to the telegraph because the transmitters knew everything being sent and received at any particular location.
Then it applied to radio and television and now the internet.
Every advance in communications generates this problem and every time we solve or ignore the problems because they are not "real" problems! I think we may be back to the Luddites because so many who do not understand the communications want to destroy the tools of the trade!
Boy progress is hard for many!
