    1. Stop subsidizing company mailings of "junk mail." We pay to allow this stuff to be mailed and then again as it fills up landfills.

    2. Allow Fed Ex, DHL, UPS and others to deliver "first class" mail and see how long the postal service lasts.

    The postal service is a direct subsidy for companies to continue direct mail advertising at below market rates. Stop it now it has been too long already!

    If they would get rid of their lazy, incompetent management and postmasters, replacing them with persons of financial and fiscal responsibility, they would not need postal reform, nor stamp rate increases every time the sun comes up. Rather than fire and get rid of the non-performers who are only along for the ride, the postal service gives them a fat bonus and promotes them. Many of them even lack the knowledge to read necessary data to run their own offices, relying on juniors postal personnel to do it for them. It is no wonder the American people are fed up with an incompetent operation such as this.
