I get into the donut hole halfway into the calendar year. The I pay full and I'm broke. They will not raise the coverage gap but the price of medicines keeps going up. Since 2005's new medicare rx program the gap has remained the same while drug cost have gone up,can't they see this. I have copies of drugs i wqas taking in 2005 and they cost more for the same drug in 2009. Why in the hell won't they raise the gap coverage by at least a couple hundred. That might give a person another month of coverage before the gap.

I am a Korean War veteran not elgible for VA health benefits. I really don't need to be treated at a VA hospital or see there doctors. I do however take several prescription drugs and will not have insurance after the first of the year. So why can't I just enroll in the VA prescription drug plan.
