Let's get this straight: The very people in Congress who railed about the lack of responsiveness by the government are now railing that the government reacted too fast by using no-bid contracts???
Instead of criticizing the very people who are busting their tails to respond to the disaster, why don't we get rid of these lawmakers and get some people in Congress who are interested in passing laws that solve real problems instead of protecting their cronies or so-called minorities?
After all, the only reason these legislators think that some vendors are paid too much is because the buddies and donors to the campaigns of these congressmen weren't getting those tax dollars in their pockets.
