How does the Fed Salary Council determine which city deserves a separate locality rate which translates a higher locality pay? As far as I know, Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing cities in the country and its cost of living is keeping an equal pace. Yet, I don't see our city is cited for a separate locality rate. Can someone let me know how we, in Las Vegas, can get redress? Appreciate if you can post the answer here.

Does anyone know offhand, what percentage of a raise Congress voted for themselves for FY 06? I am just wondering if they are keeping up with inflation at a comparable rate with the rest of us. Bet not!
Thanks,
