I represent non-appropriated employees who are not covered under MSBP, the salaries are not paid as General Schedule, and have limited rights under Title 5, United States Code. So will all of the changes applied to these employees?

Lies, lies, lies. Has anyone who counts (like us worker bees) seen these new rules? Have any changes been made that were suggested? Were the unions really conferred with? Is this a good system for us or the country? The answer to all of the questions is, no! Think about it. How can a person who bounced from job to job and then was a manager for Holiday Inn possibly know what civil service is about? As stated before this is the National Screw the People System. We are all about to go down with out anyone, caring, especially not Bush. The only thing that matters to him and his friends is how can we steal more from the common folks.

Okay, we know the Clinton appointed judge is working on the DoD personnel rules.
Who appointed the DHS judge? Maybe we have some journalistic bias going on here.
This article makes it sound like Clinton judges are bad and all others are good.
Let's make it fair and balanced if you want respectability in reporting.

Its obvious that this administration does not intend on following the law. This is an effort to shortchange Senior Government rank and file employees. It's all about the money. Are they going to scale back SES salaries? No, they gave them a raise. They are going to get it from the average General Schedule worker through pay banding. Our retirement, our wages and our health care are all fair game for King George and his cronies. Remember the New Deal that Roosevelt put in way back when. Well this is the Old Deal the Republicans had before a progressive Democrat made them pay. You folks out their who voted for King George are about to get the financial education of a life time. I didn't vote for him. I just hope and pray I don't get this education. Maybe the Unions can stop this NSPS. It makes me angry when I see what the rich 2% are doing to the middle class and poor people of America. Look at Katrina. Its a prime example of how this administration is treating the American people.

I was at Meet and Confer - DOD and OPM ignored the 58,000 comments of the good people who work for and support the Department of Defense. They did not make ONE change to their proposed regs based on any comments received. Not one!

What a joke. This is clear Union busting by the Administration. It has nothing to do with national security. The Unions did not cause 9/11, or invade Iraq on suspect terms. It is ironic that we are promoting freedom in Iraq, which is a long way off, and everyday losing our basic freedoms at home.
