Let's see how many of the agencies that responded that they had "very high levels of emergency preparedness", have their performance in the Katrina area up to pre-storm levels. If not, will we see the persons who signed out the report of being ready summarily fired for fraud? That would be a true test. How about the response of other agencies to help out with volunteers that have needed qualifications? How may had their lists in the day asked, versus getting ready after the fact.

I can't say that I'm surprised. How many of us be it managers, the workers, etc who just wing it everyday even though we try to do the right thing. Until the politicians let us do our jobs, there isn't much we can do to help people that need it and quickly.
