Although Google is new and has lots of flash, Terraserver, USGS and others have had this sort of imaging available for several years. Somehow I think determined terrorists can find a map if they need it.

This is ridiculous. The latitude and longitude of every facility is in the geo database. China hacked into the military systems to get the list of Air Force officers so why do you not think that they got the list of the latitude and longitude of every military facility? For the big guys like China and Russia they can set their guided missiles based on the latitude and longitude of the facilities and get direct hits. For the little guys like Osama they know where everything is and can attack even without the sky-high pictures.

If people are afraid terrorists will use this product, why don't they fear developers mapping out the land for possible new building sites. Give me a break! Wake up, if you want to live in fear, get rid of everything you have, move into a cave and don't come out. I refuse to live in terror just because people say we must cower.
