Return to Article: Judge calls on DHS, Justice to improve legal proceedings for noncitizens

"Judge Raymond Fisher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said immigration proceedings are swamping his court, administrative records are very poor and illegal aliens often do not have proper legal representation. "
What is wrong with the system is Judge Fisher! If they are illegal aliens they should be deported. Why should I pay for the defense of an illegal alien? They do not deserve "due process" they are not citizens! Send them back were they came from and do not even bother with a trial. The entire process is a total waste of money and borders on abuse by the Judges! A judicial system that sends Martha Stwart to jail for 9 months for lies to a federal official but allows illegal aliens to run free is totally out of line with its society and should be reduced even further.

You should have finished the article. The last line the Judge says,"it's a whole new landscape" referring to all of the new cases. Proof, that these judges have been residing in their own little worlds. I have ten plus years on and the game has always been the same, to appeal to the 9th. Except that until Ashcroft released the log jam at the Bureau of Immigration Appeals, that is where the alien beat the court system, so the judges on the 9th never saw the cases that should have been denied at the BIA. These judges never look at all of the victims these aliens create, never look at their morale character, never consider the future victims these criminal foreign nationals are going to hurt. "It's not over until the criminal wins" is not a joke but a reality. Who is scrutinizing these judges if they claim their case load is too much? A court with more time on their hands?
