Return to Article: Judge asks DHS to delay new personnel regulations for two weeks

Two weeks, two months, two years. Does it really make any difference in the long run? Despite what the Unions may want federal workers to believe, DHS can pretty much do as it darn well pleases for the national defense. The Unions might make some headway if they can prove that the new personnel system is a political move more than for defense. But, the Unions might have to step on some political toes to do that. Fat chance of that happening.
I think the judge is just trying to avoid offending anyone.
