    What a bunch of pandering to the public. FEMA may have waste and fraud, but it's only because they are run like other federal agencies. Compared to agencies like the Department of Defense and Department of Labor, FEMA is a saint. At least their problems have to do with how aid is disbursed to help individuals in need rather than politicians.

    The only reason our Congressional representatives are coming down on FEMA is because it doesn't have any influence with large corporations who contribute lots of money to political campaigns. It's a shame that FEMA isn't buying hundred-million dollar fighter jets for the hurricane victims.

    And they say we have no money to pay disabled, military retirees their due compensation. What a joke. BUSH will really rake it in Florida this last go round won't he. Why not just hire Halliburton?
