A National Security Service- NSS in the FBI?
I have a better idea-- how about dropping the National from the acronym because I think SS says it all!
I wonder if the supporters of the Weimer Republic saw these many signs back in 1931.
I've already told my family that the day the United States issues German style Nuremberg type laws we are out of here. I have no intention of watching my children and grandchildren live in a police state or worse- become bars of soap. I've lost too many relatives 60+ years ago in Europe not to be very deeply concerned about what I'm witnessing today in the land of the free and the home of the brave!

The newly created National Security Service should be placed within the Department of Homeland Security. Creating an entity within the FBI to do homeland security work makes no sense, when DHS has no domestic intelligence program to support its mission. Keeping DHS and domestic intelligence seperate makes no logical sense.
