There's something I don't understand, and maybe one of you out there will have some insight: Why don't they just use drugs to get information? It would be cheaper, less traumatic and quicker.

I am amazed at how the NeoCons don't like the ACLU. That would be until they get a favorable action from them.
At the time the ACLU is on their side, nothing is said. Funny how that works out.
Keep up the good work ACLU, I don't like you sometimes myself and that is a good thing.

These guys get 6 years for stealing $2.6 million. That is $400,000 a year tax free! How many of you make $400,000 a year tax free? Furthermore, they do not have to do anything but sit in jail and let us pay their room and board! The courts are a joke! Now the supreme's have ruled that the government can take your property to give to another private sector operator to make more money! The latest ruling of the supreme's is that religion may be displayed on government property but only in certain ways - like in granite but not on paper! What are these people learning in law schools? This is crazy! Any check or balance originally intended for the courts is long gone with political appointees!

Well actually it's not a joke but most unfortunate for the soldiers but not Rummy, the larger joke is that the American public actually bought into the lies of this administration and his sidekicks who got us in this mess, and even today they administer through fear via the terror alert levels.......the Bushwacker is self serving, not the sharpess tool and reckless with Americans values and money, I think most people in the US are tired of being the world police and would like their government to put them first for a change, most of what the wacker is doing will never effect him and I'll just bet he's profitting from all this, as you know the Bushees were indirectly connected to the Bin Laudens via the oil network, check out the number of new enlistments into the armed forces, and check out the polls.

What a joke! Will the ACLU et al. also sue the terrorists who kidnapped, tortured and beheaded Nicholas Berg and countless other innocent men, women and children? Will they sue the terrorists who indiscriminately blow up car bombs, and use suicide bombers to kill civilians? Will they sue Osama Bin Laden for orchestrating the massacre of almost 3,000 innocents on 9/11? Talk about misplaced priorities! To equate what was done by a few soldiers (who admittedly did wrong, and were punished for it) as morally equivalent with what is being done daily by terrorists is uncomprehensible and indefensible, and only serves to give aid and comfort to our enemies.
I only wish the ACLU showed as much compassion and zeal in defending American troops who are in harm's way protecting us from the real terrorists, namely Islamic fundamentalists, as they do defending our nation's enemies. Maybe they should change their name, and drop "American" from their title, because the interests they espouse are definitely anti-American!

Take a look at the second item, "Taxpayer Theft." Notice who did it? Contractor employees!
