This is more of question than comment. Recently three plain close officers with badges and I believe pistols came to my son's apartment wanting information about a sex offender. They cited the Patriot Act in order to enter. He allowed them in and did answer their questions and let them look around. My concern is: Were the people really FBI; doesn't the FBI still have to have a written search warrant unless probable cause? Needless to say my son was very upset and frightened. Is it allowable for the Agency to use questionable tactics such as siting an Act that probably very few Americans know what it exactly contains?
