It is always amazes me how Congressman add non-military spending to such bills--"the Senate measure would provide $243.4 million for non-homeland security domestic items." Do we wonder how our deficit has grown to such record levels? These off table additions fall off the radar scope with no witnesses to the "special spending." As taxpayers, we should say no to "special spending" in our respective districts. If local funds can't raise the dollars, then we shouldn't turn to the American taxpayer. Go to your favorite website and look at the supplemental bill and write to your represenative in Congress and say no to what they placed in this supplement bill for "non-homeland security domestic items." Become informed and make a difference.
