There will be no arms embargo against China because the balance of treade with China is so negative that we need to sell China everything we can and arms is one of the few things the free world has that it can sell! The article raises the question of what constitutes arms - the USA is allowing IBM to sell its entire personal computer company to China and that technology controls most weapons today.
Personally, I think we need an arms embargo everywhere because the USA always ends up fighting those that it sold arms to in the past (Afganistan and Iraq to name a few- oh yes don't forget that we also sold to Iran). I propose that we ask every country to provide us with the money to arm for them but that we control the arms to use on their behalf. When they supply the money and the people to run a war, we will supply the arms to the people they supply and let them go at it. Yeah and social security has no problems either.
