Hey be glad it was your First Sergeant. While in the Air Force I had my four star general try the same thing (1980's). Only he used the mail system. Maybe he would have had better luck if he did get me drunk. I did not buy, but it made me wonder when my evaluation was going up before his office (I worked in his HQ building) for review.

I was a target of one of these life insurance schemes, amazingly enough while in the Air Force my 1st Sergeant recommended this for everyone. So, being young and dumb I fell hook, line, and sinker--good to know someone is trying to stop this.
