If the information from the help desk is so bad we should send the function to India along with that of the IRS who also proved bad. We still would get the same bad information but would pay a lot less for it!

Answering basic Medicare questions regarding one of the largest entitlement programs shouldn't be such a difficult task. Why can't Medicare and all of its help line contractors get this basic process right? Doesn't seem too much to ask for!
How much is it costing the taxpayer to answer all those phone calls and for providing incorrect answers? Seems like the money could be better spent on providing health care and lower cost presciption drugs than paying contractors to provide incorrect information to the public especially the elderly. Outrageous!
