When are we going to "put down the donut", get off our tired "little donkeys", get some Adult Leadership (the Boy Scouts have it) and make this Railroad Business Work? When I was a kid you could take a train anywhere...you still could today if you paid rail workers reasonable wages; not all the Unions can gouge, and had managers who could manage, not make excuses and whine all the time (Amtrak must be run by the same clowns who screwed up the last BRAC!) When I was overseas we took trains all over Germany, Austria, Holland, and the UK...what's our excuse in the good old USA? Lets solve this problem, and quit whining about it! Have we looked at success? German and UK Railroads? Back when America was great we had rail passenger service...and our excuse now is?
