I wonder how far down the food chain the "get in line/don't make waves" culture to which Mr Scheur alluded, extends in the Bush Administration. Is the Powell-out/Rice-in move, as SoS, further evidence of the pervasiveness of Yes Mr. President! cabinet "posts" (as in lamp- or even less controversial meanings of the term). The only consolation for some of the 55 Million + who wanted a change at the helm, is that GWB now can blame no one else for his mess and must stew in his own juices for 4 more years of "hard(ly) work(ing)".

"Enough" public debate on the nature of the threat regarding Osama? All the intellectual property Mr. Scheur has "amassed", has been with taxpayer dollars and intelligence "Need to Know". The very nature of his disclosures will allow focused analysis by our enemies. I view this as treasonable. Hope this opinion by a retired 20 year military career servant doesn't cut his book sales.
