I read this one again. Now it is clear to me, the United States Federal Government wants to discriminate against segments of the society they don't like. Must be a Bible thing.
Shameful.

Today it's sexual orientation, tomorrow it is your religion, then it's your loyalty to the president, then your ethnicity and then your hair color. Sounds very familiar to WWII. Of course the young ones don't remember what it was like then they don't want to know what it is going to be like in the future if this man and his party win again.
Have your Bible and loyalty oath on your desk at all times, this may be your last day at work.

I see Hercubush is at it again. While I'm not a gay or lesbian, nor have a national day/week/month named after me, I hate to see any administation revoke protections, they were put in for a reason, and while it's looking more and more like Hercubush will win the election, I'm grateful of 2 things, 1) he's not getting my vote and 2) I'm eligible to retire in less then a year.

This is not surprising to me since the Bush Administration has been attempting to implement its right wing agenda in the Executive Branch since it took office To me, as a federal worker, this is the overriding issue in this election, the systematic elimination of the Civil Service Act by this Administration. I am only a couple of years from retirement and with elimination of protections and outsourcing I'm wondering if I'll have a job to retire from if Bush is reelected.
