Return to Article: Agencies urged to develop teleworker corps for emergency situations

Another brilliant move by OPM and an example of why they should go away! How do employees work from home when terrorists have destroyed the servers and lines that foster communication by blowing up the buildings? The data processing people should be building a distributed network with servers and lines that circumvent the central work locations so work may continue in the event of a shutdown as any particular location! Not likely to happen because most of the data processing people (who now call themselves something new every day to get hirer pay) are contractors that do not get paid to think about these things.
