Wantta know what you can do with your national I.D. badge there General Patty?! I can't use the same badge to access various shipyards or naval facilities as it is now. So before I (as part of the American public) allow some overzealous retired general to require all of us to carry some "stinking badge" how about you put your card where the sun don't shine. And I'm NOT referring to the spot between your ears there son.

The long arm of the USA Patriot Act, has made suspects out of 284 million Americans. Probable cause is so narrow, that it places guilt on those who have protest against any government action, thus, civil liberties has been bruised severely. As an independent voter, I have notice more action of this nature for the upcoming GOP convention, then say, the Democrats convention in Boston, also, more alerts have been notice for one convention verses the other convention, it sounds as, if, the so-call fear moguls favor GOP action. This clearly, violates the "First Amendment" right to address grievance with government.

Well, I admit it - I had to look up 'predication' but still remain unsure of what the FBI's Executive Assistant Director of Intelligence Baginski's statment that, "There is absolutely no truth to the allegation that any of these things were taken outside of predication and outside the bounds of the Constitution," actually means. Was (or is) she attempting to show us how smart she is? Regardless, I'm sure she has the best of intentions.
Madam, forget the fancy lingo and speak directly and clearly to the Constitution! Remember the Patriot Act? Isn't there a provision in that act allowing random, unsanctioned and unannounced entry and search(s) of private property? Is that part of the Constitution? Perhaps such talk is part of Ms. Baginski's interpetation of both the Constitution and The Patriot Act. I'm not sure she knows what she means to say.
Meanwhile back at the ranch The Prez, his congessional cronies and their talking heads reassure us they are only "adjusting" our Constiution via the Patriot Act so that we may be better protected... just a little freedom in traded for safety.
There are a couple of cliche's that immediately come to mind - one involves trading freedom for safety and the other involves wishing carefully. Both apply - be careful who you vote (wish) for, especially if they like the idea of trading away our freedom for safety! As for Baginski, well... let's hope she and her "good intentions" go quietly away.

All I can say is "we don't need no stinking badges".

Who do these people think they are? Americans!!! Only Republicans are allowed to protest, these Democrats are obviously up to something bad and therefore must be hounded until they stop. King George will tell us when protesting is permitted.
Good grief people, get in line and stay there.
