Opensecrets.org reports Coburn received 49% of his funding from outside the state of Oklahoma vs 34% for Brad Carson. It would appear Tom Delay's boys are at it again. The true conservative, Bob Anthony, lost to Coburn.

In Oklahoma Tom Coburn the "socially conservative Republican" already won the primary. Brad Carson is mostly liberal not a moderate as stated in the article.

I'm curious as to how the previous post applies to this particular article. I read the article as a discussion as to the challenges the democrats face in gaining a majority in the Senate. I've read similar articles when the republicans controlled the Senate. If the democrats do carry the majority in this election, I expect we will see a similiar article in two years about what the republicans need to do to take back the Senate. If anyone else feels this was baised, I'd be curious to read why you think so. Maybe I missed something.
