So now we all know, over the top profits are just fine as long the current administration's friends are getting them. Wait until the tables are turned and the Dem's are in charge, that is when the problem will come. Then we will put all kinds of limits and charges against profiteering on war contracting companies.

Curious that Presidential candidate Mr. Kerry was too busy with meetings to take an active voice in the government he says he wants to make better. Didn't he refuse to give up his position/paycheck because he wanted to continue to take part in important debates?
I am uncomfortable with this vote, but I'm willing to wait to make a hard opinion until I can read the language based on Mr. Frist's comments that it was too vague. We have enough problems with vaguely-worded laws that cannot be enforced.

Even though it wasn't passed this time, let's hope it makes them think twice. Still, when you've been invulnerable for so long, it's hard to believe it could change.

Any surprise here? The GOP knows who feeds them. It's a symbiotic relationship (which Democrats are guilty of as well). Until the big money is truly taken out of politics, this will continue as usual.

This article should be on the front page of every newspaper and the cover of every news magazine. Obviously, the Republicans count on American voters' remaining ignorant of what they do in Congress, yet this is the party that wraps itself in the flag so publicly (and cynically).
