I have read with great interest, since April 2003, your articles regarding problems with the FBI's ACS computer system, about it being flawed, outdated, cumbersome and not user-friendly, and so difficult to use, even the agents avoid using it.
I feel that this problem is linked to the FBI's bureaucratic blunders that led to the 9-11 tragedy. During my employment at the FBI, in 1998-1999, my genuine efforts to learn the ACS system were constantly thwarted. I was verbally bullied by my supervisor who trained me at times, and I was even physically assaulted by her supervisor, (without remorse), when I tried to defend my progress in my training sessions. They constantly told me that I was doing a poor job performing those tasks in File Management, using the ACS system.
I remember one day when I was indexing information which an agent had marked, in a case file, to be indexed into the ACS system. Some of the marked information was aircraft information, (aircraft types, serial numbers, etc. - very detailed information for that particular case file.) I carefully inputted all the marked information into the computer. I am a patient, careful and detailed worker, and understood the importance of this information. My immediate supervisor, however, saw what I was doing and she was not happy about it. She went to her supervisor, after which I was harassed and bullied, and shown numerous errors she stated I had made in previous indexings, and she stated that I was not doing well in file management. Similarly-situated employees, also being trained in File Management, using the ACS system, also made numerous errors.
I seriously wanted to do a fine job, but my efforts were always blocked. I was systematically set up, by management, to fail in my performance of these duties, leading to my being terminated from the rolls of the FBI. I believe this was in retaliation for my having sought EEO relief.
I'm greatly concerned that the FBI used their flawed ACS system as a tool, like a game, to set me up to fail, while they were fully aware of the ACS system's serious flaws. It's as though they didn't care. They were so wrapped up in their web of bureaucracy, about who belonged, or didn't belong, in "The FBI Family", that they had no foresight of the grave consequences of their actions.

The incidents of September 11, 2001 has been hardly covered by the government, there seems to be more delays, denials and sealing of documents, clearly this shows some cover-up by our government. A criminal investigation get's more information and it appeals to the general public for help. Our government has been very secretive about the doings of the events of September 11. There are many unanswered questions government has not given any type of response, such as, how is it possible for 4 airplanes to fly, without having the air defense to respond, or, how is it possible for an event of this nature to have such an American sounding theme "911" only in America or the coded system of the airplanes 11(1), 93(12)(2), 175 (13)(3), 77(14)(4). The picture frames of the Pentagon crash apparently has been tampered with, several missing frames and every video camera was taken by FBI agents minutes after the crash. If, our government was sincere in its efforts, maybe people would not question every turn they make in events of this nation.
