If we don't need a draft, why do we need stop loss? One is the substitute for the other.

He says they will keep stop loss going only until the 48 brigades are ready to "stand up". What he didn't say is that the stand up is now scheduled for sometime in 2007.
I feel for the men and women who are now dealing with involuntary servitude.
It is time to admit we are stretched too thin, and we need more active duty VOLUNTEER troops. We are supposed to have a volunteer Army, but you don't hear that touted too much these days.
Perhaps it is time to look at the draft as well.
