This is a complete waste of time & resources. The terrorists who attacked and still threaten our country are Islamic fundamentalists. We should be concentrating our efforts on these extremists, not average Americans. What good does it do to query passengers through private databases, when most if not all of those who threaten us are not even U.S. citizens or residents? Foreign terrorists will not be found in these databases, which collect data from motor vehicle records, property ownership, voter registration, court filings, etc. This information is collected almost exclusively from U.S. citizens and residents! We are barking up the wrong tree, and should instead be taking different measures to secure our country.

"I do not believe you have a right to be anonymous in a free society."
This ChoicePoint company scares the heck out of me. Derek Smith, if that's your REAL name, please don't run for public office.

It seems odd that the TSA wants to collect data about Americans, ostensibly, to fight terrorism. It would seem a lot more productive to collect data about Saudis, Egyptians, Pakistanis, etc. It reminds me of a recent Dilbert cartoon. Dilbert: "Why do we do insignificant tasks?" Pointy Haired Boss: "Because we can."
