I must question why the use of UNICOR is mandatory, while at the same time the General Services Administration often offers more suitable furniture at a competitive price. I cannot understand a policy that requires us to bypass a government agency that exists, among other reasons, to provide office furniture and equipment to government agencies at a reasonable cost, in favor of the quasi-government corporation, UNICOR.
