    Interesting since, when responding to the first Mayor's survey on the topic, the Houston Mayor stated that they were not involved in and hadn't been advised of a funding program that the city has been participating in for approximately 20 years.

    I find it interesting to read that the mayor of Baltimore thinks:

    "We would never think of sending the men and women of our armed forces into Afghanistan or Iraq with radios that can't talk to each other"

    I guess he hasn't checked into that too carefully, has he?
