Return to Article: Homeland Security eyes military technology for commercial aircraft

This is a stupid waste of time and money. The expert opinion (from those not benefiting from the issue) is that the technology will not work and is not reasonable to install. However, Homeland Security will spend millions of my money to decide the experts are correct, or otherwise if the benefits flow to Bush friends. Even if they conclude the benefit is positive, it will take years to install and then only on a few airlines. This is a political joke - similar to the fact that we could avoid nuclear bomb injury with duck and cover and that the sheet would protect us from an A-bomb!
