House Armed Services Committee Chairman Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., is a hero. Hopefully he will not cave in to pressure to allow our defense dept to obtain defense goods and services overseas! McCain is not qualified to oppose Hunter on this matter. He has no idea of how fair trade works and that it can be quit negative. What happens if we buy all our steel from Japan and Japan attacks Pearl Harbor? What happens if we buy planes from France and Germany overruns France in a day? John needs to learn something from history - that probably is why the people of the USA did not go for him in the Presidential elections.
Hunter should not compromise on this issue and the White House should support Hunter. This is the best homeland defense idea that has come out of the federal government!
