Return to Article: Army's lightweight Stryker brigade to get tested in Iraq

I see only disaster waiting to happen with this new Stryker brigade. I hate to sound negative but more boots on the ground (in an Iraq neighborhood) conducting patrols, raids etc. with the Stryker vehicles on the streets getting blown apart by RPG or small arms fire, I think is an invitation to a turkey shoot.
Instead of wasting our time trying to bring peace to a country that is still too hot to handle, we should bring in more troops (Army, Marines) and conduct a sweep of all major cities (house to house) and clear out the city of the terrorists their weapons. Let's get serious and stop trying to re-invent the wheel.
I say more troops (other countries troops involved) or just the U.S. and let's do this the old fashioned way........We came, we saw and we conquered and then we help to rebuild and turn the country back over to the Iraq's. We are in a war let's start treating it as such and stop treating it as a police action. They don't like us anyway and they probably never will - let's play ball to win!
