If Mr. Bush and his political cronies feel so strongly about competition, why is Halliburton getting a free ride?

It seems to me that Congress & the administration of the White House should be doing all that they can to save jobs in the public sector. The US has lost over 2M jobs since 2001 to overseas countries; the most jobs lost in 7 decades. If private companies are sending more and more jobs outside the US to save costs, who but the government is going to be able to provide jobs? Also has anyone done a true cost benefit analysis on contracting out of IT work? It is not like the contractor bids on a job, completes the work, and moves on. We've had the same contractors around for 10 years now. UNISYS Corp. has such an inside track on government IT work, it is almost impossible for any other company, much less the government workers, to bid on any work. Talk about creating a monopoly! It's time that Americans wake up and see that the Bush administration has no interest in middle-class workers. It is ALL about BIG business and how they can become richer!
