Frequently I wondered if I made the right decision leaving the military before doing 20 years, and then I read stories like this. Now I wonder why anyone would enter the military in the first place.

Breaking point! Those poor guys over there are being used up like they're not even human. It's darn HOT and extremely dangerous over there. The rotations are long and often extended to save the all-mighty dollar. What happened to all that money we found in Iraq? I know they say it takes billions for power, water, etc., but let's get some dollars from other than our own pockets to bear this burden. We're in too many countries trying to balance it all and it's human beings with families taking care of this business. I admire and have a newfound respect for our soldiers. I don't know how they do it. Give'em a break and get some support from the other countries reaping the benefit of our soldiers' sacrifice. Better yet, let's get more of the host countries' men to stand up for themselves. We can give a rifle or two.
