    This is silly. The precedent has already been set in many different forms. The US Military uses handguns, rifles and machine guns that are made by non-US companies, albeit some on US soil. One of the largest vendors of machine guns (M249SAW) and the venerable M16 is FN of South Carolina, headquartered in Belgium. You can't possibly believe that some of that money doesn't find it's way back to Antwerp? Our Special Operations forces have chosen Heckler & Koch weapons of various types for many years and there has been no recall vote or challenge. These H&K weapons are seslected enough by our military that they have National Stock Numbers (NSNs).
